Seeing the Extraordinary in the Ordinary with Visiting Artist Denny Tillman
Seeing a good photograph amidst the chaos of our visual world isn’t easy. In this workshop, students will explore ways to focus their attention on capturing what is visually special within what seems, on the surface, to be ordinary. Students will shoot digital images, review them, and talk about the story within the frame. Is the essential story clear and significant? Making good photographs is a visual language. Like music, it is open to many interpretations and the artist’s intention must be clear.
