About the Teaching Artists

Edward Baldwin got back into photography with a DSLR soon after moving back to Maui in 2007. He has enjoyed recognition in many of Maui’s galleries including the Hui Noe’au Visual Arts Center, Viewpoints Gallery and the Schaefer International Gallery. With an ongoing interest in improving his skills through education and practical application, he is proficient in Photoshop as well as many other software applications designed for today’s digital photography. He is often seen roaming the island with camera in hand capturing the infinite beauty of Maui 24/7 as noted by many of his photos taken after sundown. You can visit his Flickr page with over 30,000 views at http://www.flickr.com/photos/ecb808/ to see many of his favorites, which also include images from Bali, China and Japan. Quite a few of these images were taken and processed exclusively with his iPhone, validating that the “best” camera is the one you have with you.
