Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center is thrilled to present online Art with Aloha workshops. We hope you enjoy these programs! To access your class, please enter the password listed on the handout you received in the mail. Passwords will change regularly, so please complete the program within 3 months time. If your password no longer works, please contact the Hui at (808) 572-6560 or email us here and we’ll be happy to assist you. The Hui is open Wednesday - Saturday from 9am-4pm.
Once you have completed your class, please submit an evaluation here. We really appreciate your constructive feedback! Your support helps us to improve and earn additional funding to create more of these offerings in the future.

Meet your kumu
Cody Kapueolaʻākeanui Pata is the classically-graduated (ʻūniki) kumu hula of Hālau Hula ʻo Ka Malama Mahilani, based in Kahului, Maui, with branches in Maunalua, Oʻahu, and Japan.
Kumu Pueo has also received trainings under various masters in the beloved arts of chant, singing, moʻolelo, lei making, kapa production, lau hala weaving, and net making. Kumu Pueo has taught Hawaiian language and culture across the island of Maui since 1993. Most recently,
Kumu Pueo served as the Master Cultural Educator of Papahana Kuaola, in Heʻeia, Oʻahu. Now back on Maui, he still works as a private Hawaiian Language and Culture Consultant for various entities including state & county governments, public & private educational institutions, and other hālau hula as well.
