About #HuiKids

Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center is thrilled to share a new way for kids to learn and practice art at home—or wherever you are! Hui Teaching Artists have created many exciting lessons and arts experiences for kids.

Through this online series, kids will enjoy:

  • short lessons in art basics (ie. line, shape, color)

  • projects that expand on visual art basics

  • Hui gallery and grounds tours

  • live art classes

  • and more! (This is new for the Hui, so we are growing and learning, too!)

 
 

Supplies:

Most of these classes will use basic materials that you might have at home—or items that would be on a standard school supply list. There are many things you can create without expensive art supplies! Some projects may incorporate clay or other materials that you’ll need to purchase. Videos will include a short supply list.

Cost:

NADA! ZERO! ZILTCH! We are so grateful to the individuals, foundations, and the Maui County Office of Economic Development and the Maui Adaptability Fund for making this program possible.

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, the Hui especially needs your support now. Class tuition alone is not enough to fund the Hui's many educational programs in our community. Please consider making an online donation to help us continue to create programs like these. Every dollar counts!
