WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP: NATIVE FLORALS IN WATERCOLOR Teaching Artist: Carmen Gardner Date & Time: Saturday & Sunday, September 19 & 20 / 10:00 am – 4:00 pm Tuition: $130 ($162 nonmember) We’re combining art and conservation for this weekend watercolor workshop! Students in this class will create a watercolor painting that focuses on the beautiful blooms of the wiliwili—a species native to Maui Nui and endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. In addition to learning watercolor techniques and getting well on your way to a finished work of art, students will have the opportunity to learn about wiliwili from an expert from East Maui Watershed Partnership who will make a special visit to class!
