The Solo Artist Exhibition is one of the only exhibitions in the state of Hawai‘i that provides the unique opportunity for artists to be personally involved in all facets of exhibition planning and installation. It challenges artists to envision and produce an innovative and cohesive body of work to be shown in a professional gallery setting. This exhibition advances careers, inspires community dialogue, and continues to define our local visual arts movement.

In 2018, we welcome Cudra Clover as the Hui’s Solo Artist. Along with a selection of her biomorphic silk paintings, she will be presenting an installation called Hysteria, that uses elements of these works to create an interactive experience. We invite you to wear red to the opening!
