Heart of the Hui: Student & Faculty Showcase
Heart of the Hui: Student & Faculty Showcase is an exhibition featuring students, open studio users, and faculty of the Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center. Open to works in all media, artists were invited to enter pieces created in or inspired by classes and workshops from within the past two years. We were thrilled to have a panel of Hui teaching artists jury this exhibition with Deb Zaleski and Julie Matheis reviewing all three-dimensional pieces, while Terry Lopez and Tia Brady assessed two-dimensional works. With over 300 classes taught annually, the 80 pieces exhibited reflect the wide range of diversity offered at the Hui. We would like to give a special mahalo to our jurors. Additionally, the Hui would like to congratulate the exhibiting artists and the many talented artists who entered their work. We invite you to enjoy the many dynamic ideas, techniques, and interests of the Hui ‘ohana!
The exhibition will be in gallery through May 21, 2021 and can be viewed on Wednesday-Saturday from 9am-4pm!
